Working Voices is a Member of the CPD Certification Service (CPDCS) that was established in 1996 as the leading independent CPD accreditation institution operating across industry sectors. Even though it's a UK body, the CPDCS provides support, advice and recognised independent CPD accreditation compatible with global CPD principles, and is recognised in the USA and worldwide. The CPDCS is used by global organisations such as Goldman Sachs Asset Management and J. P. Morgan.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) are the terms used to describe the commitment to lifelong learning, a skill that is invaluable to all people across every segment of society. Individuals may participate for many different reasons, including to maintain and improve their professional competence and to enhance career progression. All the Online Training Courses offered by Working Voices Digital are CPD Certified. Your organisation may or may not require you accrue a certain number of CPD hours on an annual basis. Even if there is no formal requirement for you to accrue CPD hours, the fact of your having participated on any WV Digital Course will be visible to, and/or recorded by, your firm's HR or L&D Departments.
Once you have watched all the videos for any of the WV Digital Courses you will be offered the opportunity to take an Assessment. If you achieve a score of 80% or over you can order a personalised CPD Certificate for the course in question that will be emailed to you with 2-3 weeks. If you fail to achieve 80% you will be offered another opportunity to take the assessment. You can take the assessment as many times as you like.
If you're a member of one of the professional Institutes, societies and bodies within the UK operating across all industry sectors, that Institute will have a CPD Policy in place as a condition of membership. Your employer may also operate its own CPD accreditation system. It is the responsibility of the individual to be aware of their institute or employer's CPD requirements and to understand how their CPD portfolio should be maintained. Institutes, and possibly employers, expect their individuals to record and submit their training for any CPD activity undertaken in accordance with the CPD scheme they operate.
